Beloved Friends,
As the vibrant colors of autumn surround us, we cannot help but be filled with gratitude for the many blessings bestowed upon our community. October brings with it a tapestry of opportunities for us to come together and make a positive impact in our church and wider community. Let us embrace this month with open hearts and open hands.
Annual Stewardship Campaign --This campaign plays a vital role in supporting the ministries, missions, and outreach efforts of the Mid-Ohio Valley Parish Disciples of Christ. Together, we can make a significant impact in our community and beyond.
New Church Parish Website--We are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new church parish website! This digital platform will serve as a hub for all things First Christian and Central Christian. You will find information about upcoming events, access sermon recordings, and stay updated on the latest news from our community.
Possible Refugee Resettlement Partnership-- In the spirit of compassion and Christian love, our church is exploring the possibility of partnering with local organizations to aid in the resettlement of refugees. As we contemplate this endeavor, let us keep those seeking refuge in our thoughts and prayers. Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved and extend a helping hand.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month-- a time to raise awareness about early detection and support those affected by breast cancer. Let us remember those who have battled or are currently battling this disease and offer our love, support, and prayers.
October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month--, a time to shed light on the issue of domestic violence and support survivors. As a church community, let us commit to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all. As we journey through October, may we continue to be a beacon of hope and love in our community. Let us embrace the changing seasons and the opportunities they bring to serve and connect with one another.
Peace and Love
